11+ Registration NOW OPEN: Your Guide to Securing a Grammar School Place in 2026

If your child will be in Year 6 this September (2025) and you’re hoping for a Grammar School place in September 2026, now is the time to register. The registration period for the 11+ entrance exams is officially open, and ensuring you don’t miss out is crucial.

Important Dates to Remember

• Registration Opened: Tuesday, 6th May 2025

• Registration Closes: Friday, 27th June 2025

It’s important to note that The Learning Centre cannot register your child for the exam. It is the parent’s responsibility to complete the registration process by the closing date.

What You Need to Know About the 11+ Registration

If you’re looking for a grammar school place for your child in Birmingham, Walsall, Shropshire, Wolverhampton, or Warwickshire, the registration link is provided below. By sitting the Birmingham entrance test, your child’s results can also be shared with other grammar schools in the region, including in Warwickshire, Walsall, Shropshire, and Wolverhampton.

Make sure to tick the relevant box when registering if you would like to have their results shared with these schools. Keep in mind that requests to share results after the registration closes (27th June 2025) will not be considered until after school offers are made in March 2026.

Why Early Registration Matters

It may feel like you have time, but don’t leave the registration to the last minute! Completing this process early ensures that your child has the best chance at securing a spot in one of their preferred schools. Plus, early registration helps eliminate any last-minute stress.
